Washer  & Dryer

Love it!

This past Christmas we had to purchase a new washer and dryer set. (Just what you want to invest in after the holidays huh?) Hours and hours of internet research later we finally settled on Kenmore Elite Front Load Washer & Dryer. Remember that I have 3 YOUNG boys, and the amount of laundry we do is almost unbearable. We had to set up a laundry drying room while our old ones were broken. Yes, a whole room!

When looking at our needs we had to take into consideration the vibration stability for our upstairs laundry, front loading for high efficiency and capacity size for duvets and many laundry loads. Through our research it seemed that Samsung was rated one of the best for quality in washer & dryers but we couldn't afford it- even with the boxing day sales. BUT we could afford the Samsung made Kenmore Elite through Sears on sale. Yay!

After quickly deciding on the colour (Grape), Sears set up a quick delivery and they even moved out our old machines to the basement! We installed them ourselves (very easy to do), and used them right away. The kids got a real kick out watching the wash spin around and around. AND with the front loaders, the kids can  help do laundry!

Needless to say- we LOVE them! We've gone through the stomach flu (several cases, multiple children), Potty training and general boys being boys. Each time the washer and dryer stand up to the challenge. Yes, the wash cycle is longer but the dry time is way shorter. Duvets, towels, sheets, hoodies, jeans... you name it- we've washed it. There's never been a issue with stability, noise vibration or wash/dry quality.

One of the nicest but frivolous qualities about the washer is the song it plays when each cycle is done. It's like you're at a classical musical concert. It makes doing laundry feel elegant.

I cannot say enough good things about this laundry pair. For our large family and multiple laundry loads, it's been perfect. I'll be the first to post if anything changes, but so far there have been no glitches. Not one. I highly recommend you look at purchasing them if you are in the market for a new front loader set.

(NOTE: we did not buy the pedestals to go with them so that might affect stability or vibration a bit, I don't know. I'm already pretty close to the ground with my hight so we opted to save that money for holiday payback)
